  1. I had no idea there were so many beaches in Olympic National Park. Like you, I’m not much of a beach gal, but your photos might convince me to visit anyway. Thanks for all the great information!

  2. You have me at your first photo! Definitely adding this to our must visit national parks. We would love to do a road trip to visit and hike as many national parks as we could.

  3. Gorgeous photos and so much information! We loved our visit to Olympic NP, but there was so much to see that we barely got to the beach. It is probably one of my top 5 favorite national parks.

  4. Thanks for sharing wonderful Pacific beaches which are family friendly too. I loved Olympic National Park as it protects 65 miles of pristine Pacific beaches, and National Forest and Wildlife Refuges protect many more.

  5. Oh my gosh! So many beaches we never visited. Although Long Beach was a favorite. Time to head back for a visit to see all our friends in Seattle and explore the Peninsula!

  6. I’m fat, but I want to get into hiking; the advice is that I should start by looking for walks that are kid-friendly. Planning a post-Covid trip to Washington to do some easy “hiking” and your article is EXACTLY the information I have been looking for—so detailed, and so much more informative than the 12 hours of internet research I did on the area before finding your site. I just want to extend the heartiest thanks—I’m off to check out the rest of your site and (hopefully) find a way to put money in your helpful pocket! Thank you so much!

  7. Aww, thank you Miranda, I’m so happy that you found it helpful! Washington is a really great place for hiking/walking! I’m on the tubby side as well, LOL, so these ‘kid-friendly’ hikes are up my alley too!
